This week we begin accepting registration for all of our summer camp programs. Find out more information by attending our Open House at BWGCC on Tuesday night. The registration form for our popular Summer Music and Art Program is now available, click here. The Music and Art Program is entering it's 78th year. Discounted early bird registration for residents will be accepted through May 30. Also, Saturday, April 5 is our annual Kite Flying Festival. Get out your clubs as the Griff Golf Course opens this week. The tennis lesson summer schedule is now available. Plus, we've added Spring Pickleball for adults at EGCC. Space still remains for our spring, youth soccer program. Mighty Mites is co-ed for children ages 3 - 12 and takes place Saturday mornings from April 26th through June 7th. We will be offering an Open House event on Tuesday, April 1st at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center Community Room from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM to share information on all of the camps and programs offered this summer. This will be a great opportunity to ask questions, compare programs and pricing, learn about our new "Adventurers' Camp," for ages 8 to 15. Pick up a registration form, or submit your registration in person (only payment by check will be accepted at the open house). Registration for our summer camps opens on April 1, with an early bird discounted rate for Greenwich residents. Pre-register for all dates at a discounted rate (senior rates apply for Greenwich residents with renewed beach/park passes) or drop-in to play. EGCC offers three, regulation sized pickleball courts to accommodate all players. The Nationally known Doyle Academy will bring the Florida based program to the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center April 14th - 16th to conduct a training program for baseball and softball players ages 6 and up. Greenwich Skatepark | Spring Skateboard Clinics for ages 6-12 begin late April, but registration has begun. Classes are held Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday afternoons. We will also offer Summer Ramp Camps and Clinics for ages 6-14 years. Summer clinics will be held Mondays through Thursdays in June, July, and August. Skatepark hours for April and May are posted here. Save the date of Saturday, June 14 for the GO SKATE FESTIVAL, held in cooperation with the Junior League of Greenwich. | Dorothy Hamill Ice Rink | While the Dorothy Hamill Ice Rink has closed for the season for ice skating, the rink will re-open mid-April for sports play on the indoor turf. The turf can be used for lacrosse, soccer, wiffle ball, flag football, t-ball, and more. Hold a birthday party or a sports camp! |

Register for NY Giants Youth Football Camp and Support the Parks & Recreation Scholarship Fund | NY Giants Youth Football Camps is hosting non contact football instruction for children ages 6-14 in Greenwich at the Whitby School the week of June 23 - June 27, from 9 AM - 3 PM. The registration fee for the week is $459, yet if you register using discount code 14GreenwichPR20, you will save $20 on your fee and a percentage will be given to the Greenwich Parks and Recreation Scholarship Fund. Information regarding cancellations and closures is also posted on our Recreation Sports Website, where you can also sign up to get text alerts and/or e-mails notifying you of changes. | Recreation Credit and Refund Policy | Credit requests for recreation program registration will be considered if received in writing prior to the start of the program. There is a $15 administrataive fee for credits. The general policy of the Recreation Division is that we do not process refunds unless a program has been cancelled. Please read all registration information carefully and call us prior to registering for a program if you have any questions. |
