9:00 to 11:30 am ... First Sunday Bird Walk
Bring binoculars. Meet at the second concession stand in Greenwich Point Park. A leisurely 2-mile walk to view birds in their habitats. Held in collaboration with Bruce Museum, Wild Wings and Audubon Greenwich. This event is Free, but passes are required for entry to Greenwich Point. 1:30 to 4:00 pm ... First Sunday Science at the Seaside Center ![]() 1:45 pm ... Join Bruce Spaman, Superintendent of Parks and Trees and Town Tree Warden at the main concession stand for a one-hour walk to learn about the trees around Greenwich Point.
3 pm ... At the Innis Arden Cottage, hear Eric Hammerling, Executive Director at Connecticut Forest & Park Association, talk about the Connecticut blue trail system and the legacy of Helen Binney Kitchel, Greenwich conservationist, state legislator and philanthropist.
This event is co-sponsored by the Greenwich Tree Conservancy and Bruce Museum.
