Thanks to everyone who brought in posters for the Green Schools poster contest. The Garden Education Center has a giant colorful stack of very inspiring student submissions, that we can't wait to share! Our awards/recognition ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 8th, and posters will be displayed in the gallery from May 3rd - May 31st. We will post pictures, and hope you get a chance to stop by. For anyone who missed the date, we are extending the deadline, and you can drop off your posters until Wed the 30th at 4pm at the GEC.
Since there was so much enthusiasm for this program, we'll be launching a new student contest at the May Gardeners Market, details coming soon. It's butterfly related, because the Market is featuring Monarch Butterfly Garden Plants! Hope to see you there. Parking is at the Cos Cob school, and a free shuttle is provided to the GEC.
