National Environmental Education Week is April 23-29 and National Arbor Day, which celebrates the role of trees in our lives and promotes tree planting and care, is on April 29 this year.

Impacts of Fracking Waste: Birds, Humans, & the Greater CT Environment

Jen Siskind, Local Coordinator for Food & Water Watch, presents the current efforts to prevent processing of fracking waste in CT. She will outline the potential effects of toxic, radioactive waste spillage as well as provide resources for contributing to local and state-wide conservation efforts.
