Sept 9 | Stroller Brigade to Protect Our Children’s Health & Future

Date: Tuesday September 9

Time: 9:30am

Location: Bruce Park Playground (across the street from the Bruce Museum). Bruce Park Dr, Greenwich, CT 06830

Do you read the ingredients of everything your child eats? So do we. Suddenly, we see palm oil in everything.

As moms, why should we care?

  • Conflict palm oil threatens our children's health, because it's an additive that's heavily refined and often disguised by complex ingredient names

  • Conflict palm oil threatens our children's future, because its cultivation is a leading cause of climate change and extinction of species like orangutans

With the People's Climate March just around the corner, please join us and other local moms to learn about the connection between palm oil and climate change. We are uniting to ask local mom Indra Nooyi, CEO of PepsiCo (maker of brands like Quaker Oats and Lay's), to take Conflict Palm Oil out of our children's food.

Bring your kiddos, there will be a coloring station!
