Organic Land Care Workshop for Homeowners Thursday, April 3, 2014 Audubon Greenwich 7pm-9pm 613 Riversville Road, Greenwich, CT 06831 $20 for CT NOFA & Audubon Greenwich Members, $30 for general public Light refreshments will be served during registration from 6pm-7pm  Register online HERE How can you have an organic yard and landscape to rival your organic veggie garden?  Come down to Greenwich Audubon and listen to experienced organic land care professionals, who will offer advice on how to have an organic lawn while introducing you to exciting and beautiful lawn alternatives to spice up your yard and invite biodiversity. This workshop is offered in partnership by Greenwich Audubon and the NOFA Organic Land Care Program, a program of CT NOFA. 7:00pm-What is organic lawn and land care and why it is important? Jenna Messier, NOFA Organic Land Care Program Director 7:10-7:40pm- Creating a New Organic Lawn with Dwight Brooks AOLCP, of Dwight Brooks Horticulturist, Inc.         7:40-8:10pm Transitioning to Organic Lawn Care with Camilla Worden, AOLCP, of Camilla Landscape Design LLC        8:10-8:40pm Lawn Alternatives and Reducing the Lawn with Michael Nadeau of Wholistic Land Care Consulting       8:40-9:00pm Mingling and Gardener Networking  The course will be held at Audubon Greenwich at 613 Riversville Road, Greenwich, CT 06831 from 6pm-9pm, light refreshments will be served.
