Parkway’s Green Leaf Night – Tues April 8^th, 6:00-7:30pm

 

Get a head-start on Earth Day and join us at Parkway School on Tues April 8^th, 6:00-7:30pm, for “Green Leaf Night” – an evening of fun, kid-friendly workshops and hands-on activities celebrating our local environment (woodlands, wetlands, coastal ecology), local farming, sustainability, recycling, and more.

 

Parkway is proud to be one of two Green Leaf pilot schools in the District – seeking ways to (i) provide environmental and sustainability education, (ii) improve the health and wellness of students and staff, and (iii) reduce its environmental impact.

 

Tell your friends . . .  this event is open to the community!   (Flyer is attached.)  All children must be accompanied by an adult, and the suggested donation is a non-perishable food item(s) for a local food pantry.
